It arrives in a dispenser box, allowing you to simply unroll the desired length of band directly from the packaging. Once you have measured the length you need—typically based on the exercise or patient requirement—use a standard pair of scissors to make a clean, straight cut across the width of the band.

Avoid cutting with dull blades, as this can create uneven edges that may tear during use. The roll contains 50 yards of material, and the dispenser box helps keep the remaining band clean and tangle-free. For clinics or facilities, the roll’s core is also compatible with most standard dispenser racks, making it easy to integrate into a busy rehabilitation environment while minimizing waste and preparation time.

The CanDo® Low Powder Exercise Band Roll uses the licensed Thera-Band® color sequence, ensuring that resistance levels are instantly recognizable to physical therapists and patients alike. The colors progress from least to greatest resistance as follows: tan, yellow, red, green, blue, black, silver, and gold. Tan offers very light resistance, ideal for early-stage rehabilitation or for elderly patients, while gold provides the highest level of resistance for advanced conditioning and strength training.

Choosing the right color depends on your fitness or recovery goals. For general upper and lower body exercise beginning a program, red or green are common starting points. For progressive training, you can advance through the colors as strength improves. Because the band is a uniform 5 inches wide, resistance is consistent along the entire strip, making it easy to compare and progress between colors.

The CanDo® Low Powder Exercise Band Roll is made from natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Symptoms can range from mild skin irritation to more severe respiratory responses. Therefore, if you or your patient has a known latex allergy, this particular version should be avoided.

However, CanDo® offers latex-free alternative exercise bands specifically designed for those with latex sensitivities.
