The Bio Skin Pneumatic Walking Boot provides post-surgical immobilization of the foot and ankle. It also decreases pain and protects the foot for enhanced rehabilitation. This Boot has flared contoured struts to fit a wide range of patients and provide comprehensive leg and ankle protection. It offers similar benefits to a foot cast, but also has the advantages of being removable and adjustable. You can remove it from time to time to wash your injured foot, and you don’t need to wear the boot to bed. You also don’t need to worry about the skin reactions that can afflict people with sensitive skin when wearing a cast.
There is a pre-relieved heel contact area to increase comfort and safety. Additionally, the product also has a low-profile, rounded sole for enhanced maneuverability.
Another feature is the ShockPod™ system which absorbs over 50% of the force from heel strike.
The Bio Skin pneumatic walking boot also has a wide foot bed for improved comfort and stability.
Other notable features of this product include an adjustable pneumatic pump with easy “push-button” release and the heel height of a traditional shoe for ease of ambulation. In addition, the boot has fully adjustable strapping for sizing accommodations.

Walking Boots – Pneumatic vs. Non Pneumatic
A pneumatic walking boot contains a chamber into which you can pump compressed air. The result is additional cushioning, stability and support for your injured foot/ankle. This chamber therefore helps to promote faster healing and improved wearing comfort. This walking boot has an adjustable pump that allows you to vary the air pressure for customized comfort.
