The Cryo Cuff Cold Therapy Machine from Aircast has everything you need to ease your pain, reduce swelling and inflammation and get you back on your feet as quickly as possible. The unit offers controlled cooling with compression for your knee, shoulder, back, ankle and calf and you can choose between gravity and IC powered Coolers.
The Aircast Cryo Cuff unit provides cold compression therapy for knee, shoulder, ankle & back to reduce pain & swelling and speed recovery. This cold therapy unit combines the benefits of cold therapy and compression to also reduce swelling and bruising. You can also use it to speed recovery from surgery.
For maximum convenience, the IC Cooler that you use with the Cuffs can hold water and ice for as long as 6 to 8 hours. In addition, the Cryo Cuff uses controlled (not continuous) cooling to reduce the risk of tissue damage and improve user comfort.
Cryo Cuff uses anatomically designed cuffs for the knee, shoulder, back ankle and calf. These designs allow for maximum cold therapy coverage. The cuffs also include focal compression capability so that you can accurately target the areas you want to treat. This too adds to user comfort.
For additional versatility, you can wear the Aircast Cryo Cuff Knee units on either the left or right knee.
The knee cuff is available in sizes small, medium and large. Please see the chart under the Sizing tab on this page for knee sizing information.
Another key advantage of this product is that you do not need a prescription to buy one.
Cryo Cuff AirCast Coolers – 2 Versions
You can buy these Coolers in 2 different versions:
- An economically priced, non motorized, gravity powered version. With this version, the patient controls the flow of water through the cuff by manually raising and lowering the cooler unit. You can either buy this cooler on a stand alone basis or in combination with an ankle, shoulder or knee cuff.
- You can alternatively buy a cooler powered by a motorized pump. This version uses electronic circuitry to control the flow of cold water through the Cuff. It produces intermittent compressions. As with the gravity powered cooler, you can either buy this IC (Intermittent Compression) cooler on a stand alone basis or in combination with an ankle, shoulder or knee cuff.
Whether you are suffering from shoulder tendonits or a torn rotator cuff or need to get back on the field after surgery to repair a torn ACL, the Cryo Cuff may be the perfect solution for your needs.
