ASTM Level 2 Disposable Masks – 50/Box

The DynaPro Disposable Face Mask is a 3 layer medical face mask design that uses non woven inner and outer layers. There is also a central melt blown fabric layer for optimal filtration performance.  These masks are also known as procedure or isolation masks. These Medical Face Masks consist of the tri laminate material mentioned above, a mask clip and earloops. The nose clip consists of iron wire with a low density polyurethane plastic coating. Finally, the mask earloops are made from elastic material woven from spandex and polyester.

Disposable Medical Face Mask – Tested Performance Levels

ASTM Level 2 Filtration Standard

These medical face masks provide a 98% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) as well as Synthetic Blood splash resistance at a 120 mmHg pressure level. They are consistent with the ASTM Level 2 and EN14683, Type IIR filtration standards. The masks will protect individuals who are in the vicinity of the wearer from respiratory droplets he or she may emit while coughing, sneezing or even speaking.

Ventilation Flow Resistance

The DynaPro Face Mask has tested levels of ventilation flow resistance of just 36 Pa/cm2. This meets the ventilation resistance requirements of ASTM Levels 1,2 and 3 as well as those of EN14683, Type IIR. As a result, you will be able to breathe easily while you are wearing this mask.

Disposable Medical Face Mask – Microbiological indicators

In addition to the above criteria, these Medical Face Masks have undergone testing for microbial cleanliness. Testers used an extraction method to determine the total number of viable microorganisms on the mask. The masks display no detectable levels of various bacteria such as coliform counts, fungal counts, staphylococcus aureus and others. Overall bacterial count is 20 CFU/g relative to the maximum allowable level of 100 CFU/g. This is sufficient to meet the EN14683 standard, Types I, II and IIR. Each of these standards requires a total level of 30 CFU/g..
