Tongue Forceps

Tongue forceps are used to give health care professionals a clear view of the tongue when this is needed for treatment. Unlike other types of forcep (dressing forceps for example) they use rubber inserts as their actual working surface. An ideal instrument for hospitals or specialty clinics. Used by ENT and maxillofacial surgeons to grasp, retract or hold the tongue still when exposing abnormal tissue growths or lesions for excision.
