Oppo Medical Gel Arch Pads provide valuable support to fallen arches and prevent painful feet after spending prolonged periods standing, walking or running. They absorb shock, improve overall foot comfort and ward off a host of more serious foot problems.
Oppo Medical Gel Arch Pads provide foot support and cushioning to individuals who have flat feet due to over pronation.
A certain amount of pronation (rolling inward of the foot while standing) is normal. Normally, healthy arches control the amount of pronation and provide support to the feet. In fact, healthy or normal pronation is a part of a normal gait and serves as a means of shock absorption as the feet hit the ground. However, individuals with flat feet over pronate due to a lack of arch support. This condition is also referred to as having “fallen arches”.
Over pronation can have a number of secondary effects due to the excessive strain it places on the plantar fascia. These effects include plantar fascitis, heel spurs, metatarsalgia and bunions. Even in the absence of these conditions, individuals with flat feet often experience pain in their feet after standing, walking or running for an extended period. Oppo Medical Gel Arch Pads provide the foot support that is lost due to fallen arches and, in doing so, reduce the pain that would otherwise result.
If you spend a lot of time on your feet due to job requirements (e.g. you are an air hostess, waitress or store attendant) these pads can help you avoid ending every day with sore painful feet.
To use your Gel Arch Pads, simply insert them inside your socks (if any) before putting on your shoes. If you are not wearing socks, you can position them inside your shoes before you slip the shoes on.
In addition to wearing Gel Arch Pads, you can mitigate the symptoms of flat feet by avoiding improperly fitted shoes and ensuring that your foot wear has a firm heel counter (the plastic insert used to reinforce the heel cup).
