The Intelect RPW Lite offers an economical route to a shockwave therapy upgrade, with the following features:

• A compact, easy to handle design;
• A large LCD touch screen that facilitates control of treatment parameters;
• A pulse counter intensity level with 6 preset energy levels that help reduce set up time and span a range of settings for possible RPW (Radial Pressure Wave) indications
• Patented SPARROW handpiece technology that supports quick release connections and rapid switching of handpieces
• A choice of 5 transmitters.

The unit emits radial low energy acoustic or “pressure” waves. These waves propagate radially within the patient’s tissues and provide therapeutic benefits for certain conditions – see below.

Intelect RPW Lite – Treatment Guidelines

• Localize the painful areas you intend to treat
• Select the most appropriate transmitters based on your treatment goal and the tissue to be targeted;
• Apply water-based ultrasound gel to the skin over the treatment area
• Always start with a lower level of intensity
• Perform a post-treatment test for improved function and decreased pain
