Cover-Roll Stretch

BSN Cover-Roll® Stretch is designed to secure a primary dressing on wound sites ranging from small to large. It is particularly well suited to highly contoured areas of the body or to areas requiring flexibility (e.g. elbows, knees or shoulders).

It is manufactured from a soft stretchable non woven polyester material that gives it its ability to conform to highly contoured areas. The dressing will also provide light compression to the wound without constricting or congesting blood or lymphatic fluid passage through the area. As a result, it will not interfere with the natural healing processes of the body.

BSN Cover-Roll® Stretch is also equipped with a polyacrylate adhesive that holds the primary dressing securely in place and will not be weakened by moisture. Another unique feature is its radio transparency, which eliminates the need to remove the dressing to conduct an x-ray examination. The gentle and skin friendly properties of the adhesive makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin, e.g pediatrics or geriatrics.

BSN Cover-Roll® Stretch is 100% latex free, so those with a history of latex sensitivity can wear it without worrying about adverse medical reactions.

In addition to its utility in wide area fixation of primary  bandages, BSN Cover-Roll® Stretch can be paired with BSN LeukoTape P for patellofemoral, hip and shoulder corrective taping without exposing the patient to the latex present in LeukoTape P.  To do this, first apply the latex free Cover-Roll® Stretch to the skin. Next, apply the rayon backed Leukotape P over the Cover-Roll® Stretch. The powerful zinc oxide based adhesive in LeukoTape will keep it securely in place while the BSN Cover-Roll® Stretch forms a protective barrier between the LeukoTape P and the skin.

It is convenient and easily cut to size, thus minimizing waste.
