This disposable sharps container facilitates the safe storage and disposal of instruments such as syringes, needles, lancets and other objects sharp enough to puncture the skin. Recommended by the US FDA for use by health care facilities during vaccination, blood drawing or other procedures when sharp edged instruments are in use. It is equipped with a tight fitting and puncture resistant lid large enough to deposit and instrument through but not large enough for a hand to enter.
This sharps container measures 0.8L in volume and is coloured a bright yellow with a red top ( for easy identifications). It has a square base that makes accidental spills (from tipping over) less likely.
