Hydrocollator Stationary Heating Unit

The Hydrocollator® Stationary Heating Unit from Chattanooga is built to last and be simple to maintain. Made of high quality stainless steel, these units will provide year after year of temperature consistent HotPacs™, courtesy of their thermostatic controls.

The units are easy to operate and have controls located in the rear, near the bottom. You can adjust the thermostat (located on the control panel) using the adjusting screw on it. You turn the screw counterclockwise to lower the temperature and vice versa.

The HotPacs used with the Hydrocollator will provide moist heat for treatment of chronic injuries. Compared to dry forms of heat, most heat can better penetrate your body’s muscles and provide needed pain relief. Be sure to wrap the HotPacs in a towel or other form of insulation before applying them to your skin. The HotPacs can have a temperature as high as 160ºF and applying them to your bare skin can cause burns or other similar injuries.

There are several models of the Hydrocollator® Stationary Heating Unit:

• Model E-1 includes:
  • 4 standard size HotPacs™ (SKU 2102); or
  • 3 standard and 1 cervical HotPac™ (SKU 2102-2); or
  • 2 standard size and 2 cervical HotPacs™ (SKU 2102-3).
• Model E- 2 includes 2 oversize, 1 cervical and 3 standard HotPacs™ (SKU 2802).
