Telfa Non Adherent Dressing is the ideal choice for treating lightly draining wounds. Health care professionals can use these products as primary dressings for lightly draining wounds or for covering dry wounds to protect the skin during the healing process
The Telfa Non Adherent Dressing is designed for the treatment of lightly draining wounds. They are made of a highly absorbent cotton fabric but are coated on both sides with a film that prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound when it is placed over the opening. The film will also prevent the dressing leaving any residue (e.g. gauze particles) inside the wound itself. This reduces the risk of infection or contamination of the wound.
In addition, you can cut the pads to fit any shape without a risk of the different layers separating from each other.
Each sterile dressing comes wrapped in a peel-open envelope for easy removal and application. They can be further sterilized using steam.
Health care professionals can use these products as primary dressings for lightly draining wounds, surgical wounds or skin tears. You can also use them to cover dry wounds to protect the skin during the healing process.
The pads are designed to be easy to use, and can be purchased for either hospital or home use. Each Telfa Non Adherent Dressing is individually wrapped in an envelope to preserve sterility. To remove a pad, you simply peel open the envelope.
The dressings are available in three sizes: 2″ x 3″, 3″ x 4″ and 3″ x 8″
