Excilon™ Drain Sponges

Excilon™ Drain Sponges are useful for removing possible sources of infection from wounds. They offer superior absorbency and rapid wicking of blood and other liquids from wounds.

They feature a unique T-Slit that is designed to fit snugly around items like drains, catheters, chest tubes, IV tubes and tracheotomies. The slit eliminates the need for you to use sterile scissors to create an opening in the sponge. Together with the Cardinal Health premium gauze sponges, they form an excellent wound care combination.

These gauze sponges are also free of any loose threads that would fall into the wound. They are made in the USA.

• Non woven;
• Diamond pattern;
• Composition is 50% polyester, 50% rayon.

The sponges are 6 ply and measure 4″ x 4″. They are 2 each per pack and 25 packs per box. The price shown is per box.
