BSN Leukotape P is a rayon backed rehabilitation tape with high tensile strength and a powerful adhesive. It is frequently used for taping the patella-femoral and shoulder areas and can remain in position for up to 18 hours at a time.
BSN LeukoTape P is a rayon-backed tape with high tensile strength that is mainly used for rehabilitation. It also has a strong zinc oxide adhesive that helps it remain in position for hours if necessary. It is porous and hand tearable yet offers extra strength and support for strains and sprains.
Therapists will usually use this tape used in conjunction with BSN Cover-Roll® Stretch. As a hypoallergenic support bandage, Cover-Roll® Stretch can function as a protective layer for patients with a history of skin allergies. If you have a history of latex sensitivity, you should exercise caution before using Leukotape P without any protective layer as it contains natural latex.
Although you can hand tear it, we suggest you use bandage scissors to cut the tape. This will leave the adhesive as intact as possible before use.
Therapists and athletes apply the tape directly to the skin in order to maintain a stable relative position of bones and muscles during athletic activity. Maintaining muscles and/or bones in their correct relative positions reduces pain and aids recovery.
Therapists normally use strapping tapes like BSN Leukotape P or DynaPro Rigid Athletic Tape to treat overuse or repetitive stress injuries. However, they may also find it useful for the proactive avoidance of sports related injuries.
BSN Leukotape P is frequently used for taping the patella-femoral and shoulder areas to treat strains or sprains in these areas.
One roll : 3.8cm x13.7m (1.5″ x15 yds).
BSN LeukoTape P – Other Uses
You can also use BSN Leukotape P for blister prevention. To do so, you can tape it over areas prone to blisters such as your heels or the balls of your feet. It can either reduce the risk of a blister forming, or protect a blister that has already formed. As mentioned above, if you have a history of allergies, please exercise caution before using it in this way.
