Hydrocollator Mobile Heating Unit

The Hydrocollator® Mobile Heating Unit from Chattanooga is built to last and simple to maintain. Made of high quality stainless steel, these units will provide year after year of temperature consistent HotPacs™, courtesy of their thermostatic controls.

In addition, these units feature 3″ swivel type rubber casters that equip them for silent frictionless movement around your health care facility when required. Draining and filling the units is very simple and you will not need to have any plumbing modifications done in order to accommodate it. The ability to move the units from one place to another in your clinic without detaching or re-attaching them to plumbing is a considerable convenience in large clinics.

The HotPacs used with the Hydrocollator® Mobile Heating Unit will provide moist heat for treatment of chronic injuries. Compared to dry forms of heat, most heat can better penetrate your body’s muscles and provide needed pain relief. Be sure to wrap the HotPacs in a towel or other form of insulation before applying them to your skin. The HotPacs can have a temperature as high as 160ºF and applying them to your bare skin can cause burns or other similar injuries.

There are several models of the Hydrocollator® Mobile Heating Unit:
