Oppo Medical Foam Retractors prevent your toes overlapping and reduce pain caused by them pressing too hard against each other. They fit comfortably without restricting your toes’ range of motion. With your range of motion unrestricted, you will be able to run or walk without interference, making these retractors an ideal choice if you have an active lifestyle or even play sports regularly.
Overlapping toes can cause toe irritation and calluses. They can be the result of several potential factors, including bunions, wearing shoes that are too small or simply genetics.
Their foam construction gives them high air permeability. As a result, you will not experience discomfort or excessive warmth in your feet from wearing these products throughout a long day.
Besides Foam Retractors, another approach to handling overlapping toes would be wearing shoes with a high broad toe box. Supports like gel toe caps, toe combs and gel toe straighteners can also be used for the same purpose.
For severe bunions, we would suggest consulting with your podiatrist before using these retractors as a corrective measure. If your bunions are severe, she may suggest surgery.
To apply your Oppo Medical Foam Retractors, place them between your toes. Keep the oblong portion of the retractors facing upwards. For best results, remove the retractors once daily for a few minutes at a time.
To clean your retractors, hand wash them using warm water and a mild soap or detergent. Then let them air dry. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying.
You can wear the foam retractors either with or without socks. If you wear them with socks, you should put them using the directions provided above before putting on your socks.
