DynaPro Adhesive Non-Woven Fabric is a great choice for fixation of primary wound dressings. By doing so, it reduces the risk of infection of the wound due to the invasion of foreign matter. It does this with no restriction of movement of the patient. You can also use it to secure post operative drainage lines, catheters, probes and other similar instruments.
It is latex free and 100% hypoallergenic, so is ideal for those with sensitive skin. The adhesive is strong enough that you can use the fabric on highly contoured areas without it curling away from the skin or peeling. Like other non woven fabrics such as BSN HypaFix, this product is a good choice for those with sensitive skin who need to use a traditional strapping tape with a latex based adhesive.
As it is radio transparent, you can leave it in place during X Rays or other similar processes. There will be no risk of interference with the procedure.
To use DynaPro Adhesive Non-Woven Fabric, first cut it to the desired shape using the guidelines on the back of the fabric. Then remove the paper backing and apply securely to the required area.
