They are also uniquely suited for use by arthritic patients or those seeking the occasional light workout. The grips are soft but not so much as to become floppy and are progressively color-coded to indicate the weight level.

The weights are also fitted with grommet holes to facilitate hanging on hooks to economize on floor space.
