The bi-lateral gel buttresses offer soothing but targeted compression. In addition, there is additional compression from the 4-way stretch elastic construction. The 4-way stretch construction also ensures uniform compression around the elbow.

Due to the absence of neoprene,this brace will not provide heat heat retention. Instead, constructed from nylon and spandex,  it will provide a comfortable wearing experience all day long. In addition, its neoprene and latex free construction will eliminate any risk of adverse medical reaction for those with latex sensitivities.

As mentioned above, this brace’s 4 way elastic construction provides uniform compression around the elbow. However, due to its gel buttresses, it can also provide targeted compression. The buttresses can be positioned in the appropriate areas just below the elbow where they can absorb forces or vibrations traveling up the forearm towards the extensor or flexor tendons. When those forces or vibrations are able to reach these tendons repeatedly, they can over time cause the development of tennis or golf elbow. The gel butresses, if positioned correctly, will absorb the forces and reduce the symptoms of tennis or golf elbow.

The general compression of the 4 way elastic is designed for addressing less localized and more general injuries such as arthritis or bursitis that are affecting larger areas of the elbow.
