Dunbar Medical Introduces Bio Skin Night Splint
Dunbar Medical is pleased to introduce to the Canadian market an innovative new night splint made by Ovation Medical and distributed in the US by Cropper Medical, the manufacturer of the Bio Skin premium line of orthopedic braces.
Among the many innovative features offered by this night splint are:
- Ease of use resulting from its adjustable tension strap, pull tab for easy application and removal and velcro compatible material for strapping and sizing accommodations;
- Pain relief due to its ergonomic design, articulating hinge and adjustable settings;
- A wide metatarsal area that prevents toe constriction;
- A pneumatic pad that increases comfort and pain relief; and
- A foot pad for a more cushioned plantar surface.
Indicated conditions include plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, drop foot and post-static dyskinesia.
